Bajah Pulsar history

The Bajaj Pulsar is a popular motorcycle brand in India and other parts of the world. It was first introduced by Bajaj Auto in 2001 and has since become one of the most successful motorcycle models in India.

Here's a brief history of the Bajaj Pulsar:

  • The first generation of the Bajaj Pulsar was launched in November 2001. It was available in two engine options - a 150cc and a 180cc. The bike was designed to appeal to young riders who were looking for a powerful and stylish motorcycle.
  • In 2003, Bajaj introduced the Pulsar 150 DTS-i, which featured the company's patented digital twin spark ignition technology. This technology improved the bike's performance, fuel efficiency, and emissions.
  • In 2005, Bajaj launched the Pulsar 180 DTS-i, which was an upgrade to the existing 180cc model. The bike had a more powerful engine, improved suspension, and better brakes.
  • In 2006, Bajaj introduced the Pulsar 200 DTS-i, which was the company's first 200cc motorcycle. The bike had a liquid-cooled engine, fuel injection, and a digital instrument cluster.
  • In 2007, Bajaj launched the Pulsar 220 DTS-i, which was the most powerful Pulsar model at the time. The bike had a 220cc engine, a semi-fairing, and a split seat.
  • In 2012, Bajaj introduced the Pulsar 200NS, which was a completely new model. The bike had a 200cc engine, a perimeter frame, and a monoshock rear suspension.
  • In 2015, Bajaj launched the Pulsar RS200, which was the company's first fully-faired motorcycle. The bike had a 200cc engine, ABS, and projector headlamps.
  • In 2017, Bajaj introduced the Pulsar NS200, which was a facelifted version of the Pulsar 200NS. The bike had a redesigned headlamp, tank, and tail section.
  • In 2019, A scaled-down variant of the Pulsar series, the Pulsar 125, was launched in August 2019. It features the same specifications as its older counterpart, the Pulsar 150, albeit being powered by a 124.4 cc engine, and has a smaller price tag. The bike produces 11.8 PS at 8500 rpm and has a 5-speed gearbox.
  • In 2021 Bajaj launched two new 250cc bikes, Pulsar F250, and N250 as successors of the Pulsar 220 range on the mark of 20 years anniversary of Pulsar

Since its introduction, the Bajaj Pulsar has become a popular motorcycle brand in India and other parts of the world. The brand is known for its combination of power, style, and affordability.
